Witch Hunt, a supernatural thriller directed by Elle Callahan, takes place in a modern world where witches are real and witchcraft is illegal. The social strategy focused on highlighting different aspects of the high caliber film’s wide appeal.
To immerse audiences in the film’s world, I collaborated with Callahan to design faux anti-witch propaganda that prompted audiences to “Pick A Side.” Engagement was elevated with an interactive Instagram filter that allowed users to transform themselves into “wanted witches,” underscoring the film’s commentary on political polarization.
As the Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer, I led and executed the social media strategy, in addition to art directing and designing social assets, augmented reality, and copywriting – resulting in an immersive, socially resonant campaign that extended the narrative beyond the screen.
